The One Green Planet Verdict: Of course, we love this company’s mission, but how do these eco-friendly, bamboo-handled toothbrushes compare to their conventional plastic counterparts? If you’re going to use a product twice a day, every day, it needs to be great…

And these Smile Squared toothbrushes rock! The mouth feel of bamboo is a bit different from that of plastic, but that’s certainly not a bad thing. The compostable bamboo handle is sturdy, and the bristles are ample and strong, yet soft enough even for sensitive gums.

While we’re not sure how long the bristles and bamboo will hold up, and it may take some time to get used to the leaner/lighter hold of the brush, it definitely feels great to give back, even while shining your pearly whites.

The toothbrush head is on the larger size, so if you prefer a smaller head, the child’s version is a good option. Overall, a great product combined with a great mission = two thumbs up!

Beautiful Design

The S Squared Design has to be one of the most well constructed! We are on our first week of trial which we won two free childrens brushes! My kids are loving it, they do give me a hard time brushing because I require 3 times a day, but have not fussed about this because of the size and overall brissel I can get all the gunk our faster and with ease! I adore the Bamboo design and texture it keeps us green, happy and eco-friendly... I look forward to getting my own now!

Finally, a toothbrush that doesn't attempt to be more than it is, a good, old-fashioned toothbrush. The bamboo handle feels great in my hand, the bristles are just right. The child brush is too small for me, but the adult one is perfect. I will definitely continue to use these toothbrushes in the future, thanks so much!

Recieved my toothbrushes a week ago and really like them. I waited to post my review as to have a chance to really try them out. At first the brush is a little different to brush with. After a few brushes though it feel better to my mouth and teeth. The toothbrush is so light and easy to hold. The old toothbrush seems so heavy now. The toothbrush design is simple yet very effective. My teeth feel smoother after I get done brushing. Only thing I would change is making the bristles a little more firm. Before I would use medium bristles and these are more soft. The soft bristles are growing on me though. Each time I use this toothbrush it gets better and better. The concept that everytime a toothbrush is bought one is given away is awesome. Brushing our teeth here is taken for granted (since its part of routine) so to someone who gets a toothbrush is a big deal. Plus it being earth friendly is wonderful. Truly now I feel like when I brush my teeth, it's making a difference all around. Thanks for a wonderful product, you have me hooked for life!

Great looking toothbrush with a no nonsense approach to clean teeth and eco-friendly living. The mouth feel of the bamboo is superior to plastic. No gimmicks in a "fancy" looking handle. The buy one brush and one is given to a child is a company philosophy that more businesses should practice.
