Hopefully, by now you have heard the news that Nil Zacharias, co-founder of One Green Planet and host of the #EatForThePlanet podcast, and Gene Stone, renowned author and co-author of How Not to Die and Forks Over Knives, recently published the groundbreaking book titled Eat For The Planet!
If not, this book is a must-read for anyone who is interested in the connection between our food choices and the environment and learning how we can all help prevent the worst impacts of climate change three times a day. It’s packed with graphics and stats that convey the hard-hitting truth, but it is presented in a way that is both creative and empowering – so basically, it’s something that everyone can get on board with!
Now, surely the fact that this book exists is exciting enough … but we have some more great news to share with you! We are launching a giveaway on Instagram to help spread the word that we can all change the world one bite at a time. We figured the best way to promote sustainable eating is to give away #EatForThePlanet tote bags that can be used every time you go to the farmers’ market or grocery store. These bags are great to use for zero-waste shopping trips, PLUS by carrying an #EatForThePlanet bag you will help spread the message that we have the power to change the food system with our food choices, spark a conversation, and get more people to join in and eat for the planet!
Talk about being the coolest kid at the Farmers’ Market!
All you have to do to participate is take a photo with your copy of the book (snap a pic while eating a plant-based meal, we know you’re taking food photos anyway!) and…
- Use #EatForThePlanet in your update and tag @eftp.co so we can find you
- Follow @eftp.co on Instagram
- Tag 2 friends who need to know about the book!
We will select three lucky winners by April 13th, so be sure to start posting now!
