Plant-based eating has grown in popularity in recent years as people choose to leave meat off their plates for a diverse number of reasons, from personal health to the environmental impact animal agriculture has on the planet as well as animal welfare concerns. No doubt about it, there’s a growing movement on the horizon, one that has the power to change the state of the planet for the better.

But the plant-based lifestyle can seem complicated to someone who’s just getting started, especially when navigating the health and other benefits of eating this way. Thanks to the PlantPure Summit, a 10-day online seminar series, you can now have all your questions answered by some of the leading experts in the field. The online summit aims promote the many facets of plant-based eating as a lifestyle.

Each online seminar will be delivered by leading experts in the field such as Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Kathy Freston and Dr. Michael Gregor, all of whom will be speaking about health, nutrition, and lifestyle in relation to the rising plant-based eating movement. Speaking to the connection between the personal health benefits of eating plant-based and the far-reaching environmental impact is none other than One Green Planet’s own Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Nil Zacharias.

Since 2012, Nil has been writing about the connection that had been missed by many: the very real relationship between plant-based eating, personal health, and the environment. Driven by the desire to spread this message, he co-founded One Green Planet in 2013 and over the course of three years, the website has gone from around 300,000 visitors per month to upwards of six million. All the while, the site’s growth has been driven and derived from the underlying mission to, quite simply, empower people to change the world with their food choices. The ideas that have shaped One Green Planet into the largest and fastest growing digital media company in the sustainability space, all stem from Nil’s personal passion for inspiring and empowering people to make planet-friendly choices and supporting industry-transforming innovations.

In his talk at the PlantPure Summit, Nill will discuss the #EatForThePlanet movement, a campaign that breaks down how a plant-based diet is not only the most sustainable, but also the best choice we can make on a personal level. He will also go into rare detail about how he has transformed this message into the Future of Food project, which highlights the new food ecosystem that is rising, driven by startups that are responding to consumer demand for healthier, plant-based options and introducing innovative new products to the market.

Excited yet? Good. On September 15th at 8pm EDT, we invite you to watch as Nil addresses to the PlantPure Summit audience on why eating plant-based is important for each and every one of us in terms of sustainability and our personal well-being and how the power to change things is as easy as making a simple choice about how we eat.

Even though the Plant Pure Summit started on September 7th, by reserving your seat, you can still access any of the topics you’ve missed! So what are you waiting for? Reserve your FREE seat for PlantPure Summit2016, a 10-day online series revealing how the plant-based lifestyle movement is radically improving healthcare, here.
