Max the bulldog is turning heads in Indianapolis, Indiana with his skateboarding talents. As a puppy, his owner, Erick Yorkman, gave him a skateboard that Max ignored until 3 months ago; the now 3-year-old Max hopped on the board and displayed a inherent knack for skating.
Believe it or not, but Max is not the only known skateboarding bulldog. Tillman is widely known as the first skateboarding bulldog (at least to show up in a YouTube video). The YouTube clip of him skateboarding along a Venice Beach, California sidewalk with ease surfaced in June 2008 and has been viewed more than 10 million times since then. The clip even landed Tillman a starring role in a commercial for Armstrong Flooring. Tyson, is another famous bulldog skateboarder who has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and has his own Wikipedia page.
As for Max, he’s has mastered skating down stairs and turning corners. Next, Yorkman plans to teach Max some lessons on the half-pipe!
