Fiona was living possibly the worst life imaginable for a dog. She was found in a Los Angeles parking lot abandoned and alone. If she needed anymore adversity, she was blind and infested with fleas.
What happened next sounds like something from a made-for-TV movie. Hope for Paws Animal Rescue founders Eldad and Audrey Hagar rushed to Fiona’s add allowing discovering the animal under horrible conditions, Mr. Hagar told MSN.com that she was “Blind, filthy, everything was going against her — there seemed to be no hope there.”
Nevertheless, the Hagars took up the hopeless cause and began to raise money to bring her back to good health. They raised $3,800 to perform surgery on Fiona’s eyes, with the hopes of helping her see again. We don’t want to ruin the story for you, so watch the video below to see how it ended!
