Patagonia is one of the most beautiful and remote places on Earth. Located at the southern tip of South America, the 402, 700-mile area includes parts of both Argentina and Chile. It contains a large amount of Chile’s ancient forests and is home to many plant and animal species, including seals, penguins, whales, and a huge variety of birds. The landscape in Patagonia is unlike any other on earth, which is why Martin Heck at Timestorm Films took the time to create this breathtaking short film.

Shot over a six week period, this beautiful footage captures a 7500-kilometer area of pristine natural landscapes, which were then time lapsed together, giving one the impression that they too are witnessing all of this hidden beauty at the far ends of the earth. It is hard to watch something like this and not be inspired to protect this beautiful planet that we share. Footage like this reminds us that every inch of it is valuable and beautiful and worth saving.
