This precious baby boar will have to grow up without her mother because of the cruel and heartless actions of a hunter. She was found by a couple that couldn’t bear to leave her alone and scared, but they were unable to keep her. Not only is it illegal to keep a wild animal like a baby boar, but it is also dangerous. Special care is needed to tend to her very specific needs and the Mino Valley Farm Sanctuary is ready for the challenge.
Unfortunately, with over 40 pigs living at the sanctuary, they have run out space and resources. They already had to turn away a number of pigs and desperately don’t want to have to turn away this baby also. Every other sanctuary has turned her away for similar reasons so this literally is her only hope.
The sanctuary is seeking donations to expand their pig enclosure and purchase a rescue van. A larger pig enclosure will allow more space for the pigs already living there and enable them to take in the baby boar and other animals in need of rescue. The van will provide a safe mode of transportation for conducting rescues, getting animals to and from the vet, and supply transport.
The Mino Valley Farm Sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates farm animals. They give them a safe place to call home where they can live out their lives free from pain, suffering, and exploitation. The sanctuary also educates the public and allows them to come and meet the animals face to face, allowing for a real connection to take place. That connection being – that farm animals deserve no less than animals kept as pets. All animals deserve love, respect, and a to feel safe.
