Thanks to Eldad and Loretta with Hope for Paws, five adorable kittens are starting the new year off safe, happy, and loved. It all started as most rescues do, with the all-important call on the Hope for Paws rescue hotline. This rescue mission, however, was certainly out of the norm as the kittens in need were trapped between two concrete walls, lined with barbed wire. It surely was not for the faint of heart, to say the least! But Eldad and Loretta don’t back down easily.

With the help of a shopping blanket, plastic fencing, and rope, the team successfully got all five kittens safely into a carrier.

More good news comes towards the end of the video concerning the mother – so be sure to watch until the very end! The babies are currently in the care of C.A.T.S Inc. waiting until they are old enough to be spayed or neutered. Soon they will be available for adoption, ready to bring smiles and cuddles to your homes for the new year!

Yet more decent, stout-hearted and compassionate people. I am beginning to believe that the human race IS worth saving from extinction, if we can only stop our global overpopulation and get our ecological act together!
