The story of J’aime was one of great pain. This little baby rhino was tragically stabbed by poachers in the wild, after losing her mother, but thankfully, she was rescued and rehabilitated at The Rhino Orphanage. Now, with her injuries healed and the past hopefully far behind her, little J’aime is exploring the many simple joys of being a little rhino – one of them definitely being big puddles!
J’aime was beyond excited to explore this new pastime. She even put her nose right into the water and started blowing bubbles, which, as her caretakers report, is something she absolutely loves to do. It is safe to say that mud wallowing is going to be one of her new favorite things!
It is wonderful to see this baby rhino finally have a normal life and lots of fun after what she has been through. To learn more about J’aime’s current home, The Rhino Orphanage, and their work for rhino calves in need, click here.
