One of the amazing things about animal lovers is the way they unite when there is an animal in need of help. When an innocent animal has been abused, neglected, or exploited, and they seemingly can’t go on, we come together and fight for them. That same spirit is needed once again for a precious girl named Little Baby.
The seven-pound puppy recently arrived at Second Chance Rescue NYC after being found in a Target garbage dumpster. She was cold, lonely, scared, and had no strength left – physically or emotionally.
This poor girl is so young but has experienced some of the most difficult circumstances life can throw at anyone. She is suffering from internal bleeding, a parasite infestation, and malnourishment among a long list of other medical issues.
As you can imagine, treatment won’t be cheap and it will be a long road to recovery. Little Baby deserves to live and experience all the wonderful things life has to offer. Needless to say, she is barely holding on to her life, so, once again it’s up to us to fight for this little one.
The medical bill just for Little Baby’s first week of veterinary care is estimated at $4,000. The wonderful team at Second Chance Rescue NYC is doing all they can to ensure her survival, but they need your help. To donate to Little Baby’s fund, click here and write her name in the notes. We can’t wait to see her healthy, happy, and running around like a puppy should.
Second Chance Rescue NYC is a non-profit animal rescue that specializes in helping abused and neglected animals, especially the Pit Bull Terrier dog, but believes all animals deserve a second chance.
