Exciting news! Major grocery store chain Publix just debuted FOUR plant-based entrées at a whopping 800 locations from vegan brand PlantPure. The yummy entrées include Tuscan Pesto Pasta, Chana Masala, Thai Drunken Veggies, and Peanutty Buddha Bowl. Not only are these drool-worthy meals convenient and easy to heat up, they’re also low in sodium and sugar and have no added oil – something that is very hard to come across in the frozen meal section.

“PlantPure wanted to provide consumers with healthy, easy, and, most importantly, delicious food options at an affordable price, “states PlantPure’s Founder and President, Nelson Campbell in a press release.

If Nelson’s name sounds familiar, that’s because he is the son of Dr. Colin T. Campbell, the author of the groundbreaking best-selling book, The China Study. Dr. Colin T. Campbell’s findings that a predominately whole food, plant-based diet will result in a far healthier lifestyle, were featured in the 2015 documentary film PlantPure Nation (which is now available for streaming on Netflix). Today, PlantPure works towards making healthy, plant-based foods accessible to everyone, all while showing the benefits of a whole-foods, plant-based diet, through tips, meal plans, and wellness programs.

Thanks to leaders such as Dr. Colin T. Campbell and his son Nelson, there has been an undeniable rise in plant-based foods in recent years as consumers learn more about what’s really in their food. In fact, according to some estimates, the plant-based meat market is set to reach $5.2 billion by 2020 and could make up one-third of the market by 2050. Millennials are transforming the American consumer marketplace by demanding fresh, healthy, and plant-based options. This is great news considering the toll our current food system is having on the environment, animals, and people’s health.

PlantPure – and the Campbells – is committed to making wholesome, plant-based meals affordable and accessible to everyone. By debuting their entrées in a major chain like Publix, not only is PlantPure reinventing the standard for healthy frozen meals, but they’re also giving countless people who may have never had “better” options access to real, wholesome, and convenient food. We can’t wait to try all four PlantPure entrées! I ate the Tuscan Pesto Pasta last night. It was a little watery like soup. It costs me $4.99 at Publix in Asheville. One entree has 20% daily sodium. Thai Drunken Veggies, I believe, has coconut milk in it which I thought Dr. Gregor said was unhealthy. Overall not amazing.

Oh really? This is fuckin hysterical. I worked for plant pure cafe in philly and the owner Fernando fucked me over completely. He fucked over all of his employees. He hired me as a lead prepcook and promised me full time and a pay raise and a month later a CUSTOMER tells me we are closing. He gave us one weeks notice and basically told me and every one else to go fuck ourselves. I have texts between Fernando and I saying he was in debt but he's clearly a liar and a phony chef plant pure needs to fuck off from the food industry they are a joke
