A sweet little pig named Hamlet is now safe in the care of Edgar’s Mission, thanks to the brave actions of a kind neighbor.
After hearing the blood-curdling cries of a pig at a nearby house, the man wasted no time placing himself in harm’s way to save Hamlet. There was a dog chasing the little pig and it was clear Hamlet had been injured. Luckily the man was able to convince the owner to relinquish the innocent pig into his care.
Even though poor Hamlet is out of trouble, he incurred a lot of injuries from his ordeal, with the worse being his right ear. Edgar’s Mission is currently arranging for the sweet pig to have his wounds assessed and will know soon whether his ear can be saved or if it needs to be amputated. Please keep poor Hamlet in your thoughts as he rests and recovers. Sadly, a lamb was reportedly killed by the same dogs and while it is too late to help her, you can support Hamlet’s recovery by donating here.
