A desperate call from a resident of a provincial Saudi Arabian town alerted Let’s Adopt Global to the presence of two cats who had been living in critical condition on the streets. Blue, the orange cat in the video, was found paralyzed and Star, the black-and-white cat, is unable to walk properly due to severe nerve damage. The Let’s Adopt team knew there were thousands of miles between these cats and the nearest vet hospital, but they refused to accept defeat. Two kindhearted people volunteered to make the 11-hour trip from the city to the town and back in order to give Star and Blue the help that they needed.

Thanks to their amazing action, Star and Blue made it to the veterinary clinic. However, getting them to a place where they could receive proper medical attention was the first of many hurdles. Vets hope that with surgery they will both regain their ability to walk, but only time will tell. What’s important is that now Star and Blue have a second chance at life.

The story of Star and Blue’s rescue is truly inspiring. To learn more about these cats and their incredible rescuers, visit Let’s Adopt Global’s page for Star and Blue.
