Maggie is one lucky baby goat. Not only does she get to cuddle with her human caretakers and hang with her sanctuary animal friends every day, she’ll also only ever know a life of happiness. With a wonderful life like this, we can’t help but to think this seven-second video of her running and jumping into the arms of Farm Sanctuary’s Susie Coston is just this little sweetie’s way of saying “thank you for rescuing my family!”
Maggie’s mother, Olive, along with two of her children, arrived at Farm Sanctuary after being saved from a now-infamous backyard butcher in Hudson Valley. She gave birth to little Maggie on Christmas day and sanctuary workers were happy to report that she’s the strongest baby goat they had ever seen. Within 30 minutes of being born, Maggie was already on her feet. As you can see in this video, this spry young goat is particularly adept at jumping — and even better at cuddling.
