You may remember the story of Honey, the German Shepherd puppy who was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition. Veterinarians told her guardians she most likely would not live for more than six months. But, for one family, Honey’s health condition was not enough to deter them from bringing her home and giving her the love she deserves, despite the tragic news.

Her dedicated parents made Honey a bucket list so that this sweet pup could experience all the joys of life, no matter how short it might be. Honey learned how to swim, played at the beach, went to a baseball game, hung out with goats at Goats of Anarchy and like any pup, Honey loves to relax with her family and dog siblings.

And now Honey reached a milestone worthy of celebration: she just turned one!

And of course Honey got some well-deserved toys on her birthday. Look at that happy smile!

We’d say Honey thoroughly enjoyed her birthday party. Yum!

There\'s better vets than this dog is being taken to. Heart surgery for dogs is nothing now. I\'d be checking around.
