Plant-based milk and yogurt company Good Karma Foods recently announced the launch of low-sugar, drinkable milk alternative made out of flaxseeds! The drink is packed with nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin D, calcium, omega-3s, as well as plant-based protein. The new drinks also boast half the sugar of dairy-based offerings.

You’ll soon see the beverages on retail shelves in the U.S. early this year at natural food stores and supermarkets. If you don’t want to wait and would like to have the beverages delivered right to your down, you can purchase them now on Amazon!

“Our new plant-based beverages were designed to offer the whole family highly-nutritious, low-sugar options they can conveniently enjoy on-the-go. We’re thrilled the new line will allow us to expand into new channels, including the launch of our first-ever offering on Amazon, making it even easier for families across the U.S. to purchase Good Karma products,” said Doug Radi, CEO of Good Karma Foods.

Last year, Dean Foods Company, the largest dairy producer in the United States took a minority stake in Good Karma Foods, a promising sign for the future of plant-based options. With conventional organic milk sales slipping and consumers opting for plant-based options because they think they are healthier, it’s clear the dairy industry will soon be a relic of the past!
