Life can be so overwhelming and all-consuming that it’s very easy to forget the little things, and especially the little beings that live and die within the chaos of modern existence.
We have no idea if that’s what Minneapolis-based creative agency, Carmichael Collective had in mind when they embarked on an ongoing Public Art Project called Bug Memorials, but if nothing else, it does make us literally stop and pay attention to the smallest of fallen creatures.
It’s a reminder that life is precious and fleeting for all us earthlings, irrespective of species or size.
Watch the video below that the Agency created for a fallen cockroach…and try not to tear up.
