Oliver, a rescue cow from the Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary, is a perfect image of what a happy cow looks like – scratched in his favorite spot, this fellow seems like just about the most content cow in the world! In return, he is more than happy to give his caretaker some kisses on the forehead. All in all, the video of this wonderful moment will most probably be the absolute sweetest thing you see today!

We wish that every cow had a chance to enjoy such a nice moment – and a life as happy and safe Oliver’s. But, sadly, that scenario is still nowhere close to reality for animals born into the meat and dairy industry.

Fortunately, we are now getting more and more aware of the realities of factory farming and its effects on animals, the planet, and our own health. Hopefully, we are on our way to making a change in what the life of a typical cow looks like – which would also be a truly immense change for the environment and people too!

Once again, a "cow" isn\'t a "he." It\'s a she. A male is either a steer or a bull. A she is either a young heifer or a cow.
