Hey, you guys. Chipotle is offering free food if you head to a restaurant near you and try their sofritas later this month. Any takers? EVERYONE, STOP CHARGING THE DOORS, THERE’S ENOUGH FOR US ALL!

Free Chipotle! Everyone, run!!

Chipotle is Encouraging People to Try Their Vegan Sofritas Option by Offering Free Food in Return

If you buy the tasty tofu temptation at any Chipotle restaurant in the United States or Canada on Monday, January 26th you can bring your receipt back from January 27th through February 28th to receive a free burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos of your choice. The sky is the limit people! Made with shredded tofu and chipotle chilis, the sofritas are a spicy, filling, sustainable and cruelty-free option to load your bowl with alongside the delightful cilantro rice situation they have going on over there.

The sofritas are definitely worth a try, not just because they’re so very fabulous (which they are) but because this is exactly the type of dish we want to be successful at a major restaurant chain. We plant-based eaters are always looking to get something tastier than a plain bun and some water at large chains, and Chipotle came through in a big way!  “When we created Sofritas, our goal was to create a delicious vegetarian option, but we quickly learned that it also appeals to many of our non-vegetarian customers,” explained Chipotle’s chief marketing and development officer Mark Crumpacker. “This promotion is designed to expose even more of our customers to Sofritas and hopefully give them one more reason to love Chipotle.”

Wait, wait, wait…you can get them in taco form too? Game changer.

The company clearly wants people to give the dish a chance and considering they only made up 3.5 percent of sales for the second quarter last year, we really need to. Honestly, there’s nothing to lose by taking advantage of this! By helping to make an offering like the sofritas successful, companies will realize that what’s healthy for us, animals and the planet is healthy for their bottom line too. Plus, we get two delicious meals out of it in the process. Seriously, have you tried the fajita vegetables on your burrito?

Yeah, run, don’t walk.

I know some people just love Chipotle, but I think it\'s terrible. I am a Mexican food lover, and think their flavorings of things are horrible. Tofu tacos? thrills............ If this were any other place I might try it, cause a free meal is always attractive. But not when you don\'t dig their food to begin with.
