Vegan awesomeness in New York City just went up to another level. Champs, the amazing Brooklyn bakery located on the north side of Williamsburg on Ainslie St. recently announced that it’s transforming itself into a full-service vegan diner. In true old-school diner tradition, they now serve breakfast all day, with veganized breakfast favorites like tofu benedict, a Vegan Slam that includes tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, soysage, homefries, toast and salad, a Monte Cristo with with melted cheese and veggie ham, as well as pancakes, french toast and some lighter options.

They also have a new lunch menu featuring sandwiches like a vegan reuben, Philly Cheese Steak, Hot Cubano, Uncle Garcia’s Tuna Melt, the Grinder (seitan with grilled garlic, onions, hot peppers, mayo, melted cheese on a warm hero), as well as salads and burgers.

Don’t fret, they will still have their vegan bakery in operation as well!
