Even when you become an adult, you still call mom when you are sick, or maybe it’s dad. Childhood memories of mommy’s homemade soup and the way she cared for you through the many coughs and colds come back to you when you get sick as an adult. It’s that feeling of comfort we all crave.

Sick animals too want that tender love and care! Case an point of Zeke the puppy who, according to fesadrs on YouTube, suffered an allergic reaction to the grass and ended up breaking out in hives. The poor wee pup needed to get both steroid and Benadryl shots to help with the itchy, uncomfortable hives, and crashed on the couch when he got home where best friend Winston was waiting.

While recording this video, these pet parents got an eye full of cuteness when Winston, who’s a cat, jumped right on in to care for the sick and nearly knocked-out Zeke. Interspecies friendships rule!

Green Monsters: Have you ever witnessed your mixed bag of creatures taking care of each other when one is sick or injured?
