There is nothing more terrifying than bats, right? They’re blood-thirsty, vicious animals … after all, that’s why they’re typically portrayed as monsters in films. Just take a look at the scary bat in this video! We almost can’t even watch; it’s so brutal!

Alright, alright, we’re just joking! In reality, bats might be the exact opposite of how they’re depicted in films and cartoons. In fact, there are more reasons that bats should actually be more afraid of us than we are of them. Many species of bat are in danger of extinction due to deforestation and even culls.

Thankfully, there are kind people who are taking action to protect these animals. This video comes from Fly By Night Bat Clinic Melbourne, an organization that does great work for bats just like this little one. Based on the pile of pears and the goofy/happy smile on his face, we’re sure this bat is in great hands.
