Just recently, California grocery chain with over 70 stores across the Golden state, Lucky Supermarkets, has launched a plant-based educational campaign. With a slogan, “fall in love with plant based,” the new campaign will work in collaboration with Plant Based Foods Association, a group on a mission to, “promote the plant based foods industry by removing obstacles to a fair and competitive marketplace for alternatives to animal ingredients and products.” The objective behind this new campaign is to introduce customers to the wide variety of plant based offerings and alternatives available within their stores.

Not only will Lucky Supermarkets now pinpoint and showcase vegan options and alternatives, but they will also be providing educational material as well as coupons throughout vegan product displays. This tactic will draw shoppers towards these products, while allowing them to engage in a mindful shopping experience.

Executive director of the Plant Based Foods Association, Michele Simon, is very excited about the partnership with Lucky Supermarkets and believes this to be a one of a kind campaign. She comments, “We are thrilled to partner with Lucky Supermarkets to promote a wide variety of plant based foods to Lucky and Lucky California shoppers…We want everyone to discover them, from plant based milks to yogurt, to cheeses, to many varieties of meats.”

This campaign will surely encourage customers to fall in love with plant based products and cooking!
