Avid animal rights activist, Pamela Anderson has written on behalf of PETA, following rumors that E.U. officials are planning to delay the deadline banning sales of cosmetics tested on animals for years—and perhaps indefinitely.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood Live, Melissa Etheridge blamed the western lifestyle for her medical problems. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and spent a year battling the disease. Etheridge is now healthier and credits her diet and life choices she has made following her medical crisis.

A rare white humpback whale calf was spotted near Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. The calf, believed to be just a few weeks old was around 12 feet long and was spotted by a family out in the bay in their boat.
